The united states helped the war veterans with housing and tuition. Those who desired to advance their education were provided with tuition money to pursue college education. This contributed to an increase in number of college graduates by a large number.

The united states helped the veterans of world war 2 readjust by providing them with benefits such as home loans and tuition money. This was through the Servicemen’s Readjustment Act, that was signed by President Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Among other things, the bill provided for construction of facilities for veterans, and offered job placement aid for vets as well as tuition.
