ASA is short for angle side angle, which you can see from angle B and angle D being congruent (all right angles are congruent), the congruent marks on line BE and line ED, and the vertical angles AEB and DEC.

D is not the answer because B and D are not in the same 'place' when naming. Silly as it is, it counts.
