PLZ HELP & EXPLAIN WHY!

Jason considered two similar televisions at a local electronics store. The generic version was based on the brand name and was 2/3 the size of the brand name. If the generic television set is 12 inches by 24 inches, what are the dimensions of the brand name television.

A.) 16 inches by 32 inches

B.) 9 inches by 18 inches

C.) 18 inches by 36 inches

D.) 8 inches by 16 inches

if you divide the measures of the name brand television, and then multiply those answers by 2, you'll get the size of the generic television.

(12÷3)×2=8
(24÷3)×2=16
