If you were traveling through space and landed on a different planet, how might your mass and weight compare to their values on Earth? Why?

In classical mechanics Weight=mass x acceleration of gravity
so the weight will differ as the gravitional force changes
but the mass yet remains constant
in general the weight of an object differs to the gravitional force acting on it
