Hi !!
Which phrase correctly completes this sentence ?
C'est la maison où je vivais auparavant, donc c'est "mon ancienne maison".
(this is the house where I lived before, so it's my old (previous, former) house".
correct answer = B
A- ma maison ancienne => false The adjective in this case has to be before *(see at the end)
B- mon ancienne maison ==> correct
maison is a feminine word , but you've to change "ma" by "mon" to avoid
2 vowels following ma ancienne. *(see at the end)
D- ma vieille maison = false . here vieux/vieille => old, aged (for a person)
D- ma maison vieille = the adjectif is false (see above)
vieux, vieille (viel) = old
ancien, ancienne = former, previous, where I used to live in this sentence.
vieille maison would be a really old house, in a bad shape, damaged (this case)

Some adjectives often are before the noun as =
joli(e), beau/bel (belle), vieux/vieil(vielle), bon (bonne), petit(e), jeune, nouveau/nouvel (nouvelle)....
un nouvel appartement (nouveau becomes nouvel masculin)
une jolie fille
un vieil homme (vieux ==> vieil)
un bel homme
*as you see , some adjectives when before a masculine word beginning by a vowel or a mute H have to change
hope this will help :)
