The probability of the spinner stopping on green is 1/3


reason: There are 3 colors on the spinner (green, blue, and red), in which 1 is green, so you put part over whole.


The probability of drawing a yellow card is 1/6


reason: There are 6 different colored cards (purple, green, red, yellow, blue, pink), in which only 1 is yellow.

To find the total probability, multiply the two fractions together.


1/6 x 1/3 = 1/18
