Option D, the Convention on Biological Diversity, is the right answer.
The Convention on Biological Diversity is a multilateral agreement. The main objective of this convention includes the conservation of biodiversity, the sustainable management of its elements; and the appropriate and equitable distribution of advantages deriving from genetic resources. The convention approved for the very first time in global law that the preservation of biodiversity is "a general concern of humankind" and is an essential part of the development process.
