The answer is 135 degrees.

Referring to angle C in the attached figure, angle c equals to half of the intercepted arc (110 degrees) by the tangent-chord theorem.

Hence angle c = 110/2 = 55 degrees.

Since a+b+c = 180 degrees (sum of angles on a line),

we have angle a+b=180-55=125 degrees.
