So with this, all you need to do is multiply both sides by -3. And remember because you are multiplying with a negative, the sign will flip as well. After doing this step, your answer will be x > -18, or B.

When we multiply or divide both sides of an inequality by a negative number, the sense of the the inequality flips:



(x)/(-3) < 6



(x)/(-3) \cdot -3 > 6 \cdot -3



x > - 18
