Conductivity of two wires is compared by the resistance of wires

Resistance is measured in unit "ohm".

If resistance of a wire will be more then it will conduct less electricity.

So if a wire in the circuit is replaced by another wire then current will be less if more resistance of wire will be there.

So wire conducts less electricity then its resistance will be more
