I'm going to make some assumptions here:

That your sqrt8x= sqrt4+2x means √(8x) = √(4+2x). (There are other interpretations.)


Squaring both sides, 8x = 4 + 2x, or 6x = 4, or x = 4/6, or x = 2/3.
