There was a 22% increase in crime in a small town from November to December. If there were 85 robberies in November, how many robberies were there in December?

so the amount of crimes in november is 100% and the amount of crime in december is 122%, hence 122% × 85 = 103.7 (?) but how can there be decimal?!?! is there something wrong with your question?
