The main goal of Hitler was to spread Germany eastwards towards the lands of Slavs. According to him, the Germans were a race of superiors and Germany was a small place for them. Slavs were a race of inferiors and it was right for the Germans, as the superior race, to dominate them. In other words, Hitler wanted to occupy the east of Germany, including Ukraine, by force.
