The x intercept is (1.745,0) and the y intercept is (0,2.133).

I hope my answer helps!

in plain and short, to find the x-intercept, we set y = 0 and solve for x.

and to find the y-intercept, we set x = 0 and solve for y.

\bf \stackrel{\textit{x-intercept, we set y = \underline{0}}}{5.5x+4.5(\underline{0})-9.6=0}\implies 5.5x-9.6=0 \\\\\\ 5.5x=9.6\implies x=\cfrac{9.6}{5.5}\implies x=1.7\overline{45}\qquad \qquad\qquad \boxed{(1.7\overline{45}, 0)} \\\\\\ \stackrel{\textit{y-intercept, we set x = \underline{0}}}{5.5(\underline{0})+4.5y-9.6=0}\implies 4.5y-9.6=0 \\\\\\ 4.5y=9.6\implies y=\cfrac{9.6}{4.5}\implies y=2.\overline{13}\qquad \qquad \qquad \quad \boxed{(0,2.\overline{13})}
