Where should you plot the ordered pair (5,2) in a relation to the origin

The origin is where the x and y axis meet or cross. To get to the point (5,2), you start at the origin and then move 5 units to the right and 2 units up.


(x,y) = (5,2) means x = 5 and y = 2

x = 5 means you move 5 units to the right from the origin until you reach "5" on the x axis


y = 2 means you move 2 units up to arrive at the location (5,2)
