Scientists synthesize a transuranium element through artificial transmutation of a lighter element. This element is produced mostly for research but some are synthesized primarily for industrial use.

Transuranium elements are artificially-generated, synthetic elements. They are formed/synthesized by nuclear reactors or particle accelerators. As elements increases, their respective half-lives of elements decrease.
