Point X would have the coordinates (1, 3).

We can see this by connecting the origin to point X by moving up 1 space and left 3 spaces. Then if we imagine to rotate this shape 90° clockwise about the origin, it goes right 1 space and up 3 spaces, which is at the coordinate (1, 3).

I hope this helps! I know my explanation is quite confusing so let me know if you have any questions :)

Answer:

(1, 3)

Explanation:

A 90° clockwise rotation about the origin maps every point

(x, y)→(y, -x).

The coordinates of X are (-3, 1); using this transformation, we have

(-3, 1)→(1, 3).
