The total area of the tree wrap needed is found by determining the circumference of the tree trunk and then multiplying that by the 45-inch height:

Unfortunately you haven't shared either the radius or the diameter of the tree trunk.

Supposing that the radius were 7 inches, then the circumference of the trunk would be 2(7 inches)(pi).

Multiplying this result by the 45-inch height would result in area 1979 in^2.

So our guess (7 inch radius) is much too large.

Please share the given radius of the tree and then recalculate the area of the wrap as shown above.
