V= 2 / 9s ^3 is the answer

we know that

Volume of a pyramid=(1/3)*[Area of the base]*height

area of the base-----> is a square base

length of the side=s

so

Area of the base=s²

height=s

substitute the values in the formula above

Volume of a pyramid=(1/3)*[s²]*s-----> volume=s³/3

therefore

the answer is

V=s³/3
