HELPPP!!!Kelsey uses the similarity statement to describe the triangles below.

Which best describes the accuracy of her statement?
Accurate. Each pair of sides corresponds with a common ratio of 2.
Accurate. The description of each triangle begins at the same vertex.
Inaccurate. In the order listed, the ratio between each pair of sides is different.
Inaccurate. The description of the triangles in the similarity statement moves clockwise in one triangle and counterclockwise in the other triangle.

RT = 8 , RS = 3 AND ST = 5.4

RV = 4 , RU = 1.5 AND UV = 2.7

∴ RT/RV = 8/4 = 2

AND RS/RU = 3/1.5 = 2

AND ST/UV = 5.4/2.7 = 2

∴Δ RTS IS SIMILAR TO ΔRVU

SO, the best statement is:

Each pair of sides corresponds with a common ratio of 2.

Answer:

Explanation:

Given is a picture of two triangles formed by two intersecting lines SU and TV intersecting at point R.

Given that RV = 4 cm, RT = 8 cm

VU = 2.7 cm and ST = 5.4 cm

UR = 1.5 cm and RS = 3 cm.

Since these sides are proportional with ratio 2, we can write corresponding sides in order to have similarity

Writing corresponding sidewise we get

VUR is similar to TSR

Or RST is similar to RUV

Thus starts with the same vertex R

RST is clockwise while RUV is anticlockwise.

Hence the following statements are true

ccurate. Each pair of sides corresponds with a common ratio of 2.

Accurate. The description of each triangle begins at the same vertex.
