The diagonals of a parallelogram intersect and intersection point separating each one in half.

|UV|=|VS| and
|TV|=|VR|

Therefore we have the equation:

2x-7=x+3\ \ \ \ |+7\\\\2x=x+10\ \ \ |-x\\\\x=10

|SU|=(x+3)+(2x-7)=3x-4

Substitute:

|SU|=(3)(10)-4=30-4=26

Answer: |SU| = 26 m

x + 3 = 2x - 7

-x = -10

x = 10

UV = 10 + 3 = 13

SU = 2 (UV) = 2(13) = 26

Answer

SU = 26 m
