Read the following sentence, which needs revising.

I am ready for the check said the woman to the server. I will bring it right away he replied.

Which sentence shows the proper punctuation of the dialogue?

“I am ready for the check,” said the woman to the server. “I will bring it right away,” he replied.

“I am ready for the check,” “said the woman to the server.” “I will bring it right away,” “he replied.”

“I am ready for the check said the woman,” to the server. “I will bring it right away he replied.”
