Slope intercept form is: y = mx + b

Isolate the y. First subtract 10x from both sides

10x (-10x) + 2y = 8 (-10x)

2y = -10x + 8

Isolate the y. Divide 2 from both sides and all terms.

(2y)/2 = (-10x + 8)/2

y = -5x + 4

y = -5x + 4 is your slope intercept form answer.

hope this helps
