Find the area of a circle with center (2, 3) that passes through (2, 7). use 3.14 for π.

Since the centre and the point have the same x-coordinate,we can use the y-coordinate to find the length of radius,which is:

7-3= 4 units

We can then find the area of the circle which is: 丌r^2

The area of the circle:
丌(4)^2
=3.14(16)
=50.24 sq.units
