To win at lotto in one state, one must correctly select 4 numbers from a collection of 61 numbers (1 through 61). the order in which the selection is made does not matter. how many different selections are possible?

If order matters, the number is 61 * 60 * 59 * 58 = 12,524,520

Since the order does not matter, the number is 12,524,520/(4 * 3 * 2 * 1) = 521,855
