How do you simplify f(x) = √x ; g(x) =x-7 using (f+g)(x)

(f + g)(x) means add the rules of the two functions


√(x) is the rule of f(x) and
x-7 is the rule of g(x)

and because they don't have any like terms to combine, the answer is as follows:


(f+g)(x)=√(x) +x-7
