a plumber charges $50 each visit plus $15 per hour. How many hours did the Plumber work if he charged a total of $110? Create an equation and solve for the number of hours the plumber worked

So, since the initial fee is $50, and every hour is $15, if h is equal to hour, the equation would be like this:


50 + 15h = 110.


Then, if we want to get the answer, we need to solve the equation.


First we pass the 50 to the other side, like this:


15h = 110 - 50

15h = 60


Then we pass the 15 dividing like this:


h = 60/15

h = 4


And we get four!


So the answer is: 4.
