The measures of two corresponding altitudes of two similar triangles are 6 m and 14 m. If the perimeter of the first triangle is 21 m, what is the number of meters in the perimeter of the second triangle?

we know that

perimeter second triangle=perimeter first triangle*scale factor

scale factor=measure second triangle/measure first triangle

scale factor=14/6

so

perimeter second triangle=21*14/6------>49 m

therefore

the answer is

the perimeter of the second triangle is 49 meters
