f(x) = {2}^(x)
over the x-axis what is the equation of the new function?

A.

g(x) = \frac{1}{ {2}^(x) }
B.

g(x) = {2}^( - x)
C.

"flipping" over a line means reflection about the line.

Reflection about the x-axis is the negation of the expression.

For example,

g(x)=-f(x) where g(x) is the reflection of f(x) about the x-axis.

So if f(x)=2^x, then

g(x)=-2^x
