Explanation:

First find slope. m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) = (6 -1)/(-6 --3) = 5/-3

then. use. y - y1 =. m (x - x1). which gives. y - 1 = -5/3(x - 3)

then. y - 1 = -5/3x + 5

then y = -5/3 x + 6. or. 5x + 3y = 18
