Simplify.
3x^2−7x+9 - 2x^2+4x−8
1. 3x^2-2x^2 = x
2. -7x + 4x = -3x
3. 9 - 8 = 1
Combine.
x -3x +1
Thus, 2x^2+4x−8 is x -3x +1 less than 3x^2−7x+9
