V = π × r² × h

The radius of the base is equal to half of its diameter. So, we have:

V = 3,14 × 6,5² × 11
V ≈ 1459.3 cm³

Answer:

Volume of cylinder (V) is given by:

V =\pi r^2h .....[1]

where,

r is the radius of the cylinder

h is the height of the cylinder.

As per the statement:

From the give diagram:

Diameter(d) = 13 cm and height(h) = 11 cm

We know that:

d = 2r

⇒13 =2r

Divide both sides by 2 we have;

6.5 = r

or

r = 6.5 cm

Substitute the given values and 3.14 for π in [1] we have;

V = 3.14 \cdot (6.5)^2 \cdot 11

V = 3.14 \cdot 42.25 \cdot 11

Simplify:

V = 1459.315 cubic cm

Therefore, the volume of the following cylinder to the nearest tenth is, 1459.3 cubic cm
