The power of an atom in a molecule to attract the shared pair of electrons. Electronegativity is a measure of how strongly atoms attract bonding electrons to themselves.

F for fluorine, O for oxygen, N for nitrogen. Those are the 3 most electronegative elements

Hello.

Electronegativity is a measure of the tendency of an atom to attract a bonding pair of electrons.

Fluorine is the most electronegative element on the Periodic Chart with a value of 4.0

Hope this helps, and if you have any questions, please just ask. Thank you.
