in a certain factory that produces bulbs,the probability that a bulb is faulty is 0.05. If 2000 bulbs are produced by the factory, how many can you expect to be faulty?

Simply multiply the total amount of bulbs by the probability of being faulty:

2000 * 0.05 = 100

You can expect 100 bulbs to be faulty.

Hey!

The probability that a bulb is faulty is 0.05, and 2,00 bulbs are produced. You have to multiply the probability by how much was made.

Probability = 0.05

Amount- Made = 2,000

That gives you:

0.05 * 2000 = 100
