Answer:

My guess is that female killers are considered less likely to kill.

Step-by-step explanation:

Most female killers are considered jokes to even the government. For example, they don't even get threatening nicknames, such as "Jolly" Jane Toppan who confessed to a total of 31 murders and was said to have laid down beside her victims after she injected them with a lethal poison and watched them die. She even planned to kill more people than anyone would ever kill.

Here are some things I thought of.
1. Females are more versatile in being able to change appearance.
2. Females are more likely to tap into one's emotions making it easier to manipulate.
3. Females are sometimes smarter in the ways they kill. Such as using a poison which is harder to trace back than fingerprints on a weapon.
4. Body types and height between women are often harder to distinguish.
5. Many women are known to plan out their kills by getting close to their targets, providing a fake identity, and establishing a faux relationship.
