Solve 64^x = 16^x−1.

1. x = −2
2 x = −1
3. x = - 1 /4
4. x = negative 1 over 3

I am assuming that x - 1 is the exponent of 16

64^x = 16^(x-1)

4^3x = 4^(2x-2)

3x = 2x - 2

x = -2 answer

64^x = 16^(x-1) \\\\ (4^3)^x=(4^2)^(x-1) \\\\ 4^(3x)=4^(2x-2)\\\\ 3x=2x-2 \\\\ \boxed{x=-2}
