there is no question here, so I'll break down a few things. Electricity- 35% (.35) of the displays is 42. Renewable energy- 2/5 or .4 of the displays is 48 displays. The rest of the displays (100-35-40, or 25%) on gas are 30.

Answer:

There were 30 displays about the uses of gas.

Explanation:

We are given the following information:

Total number of displays = 120

Displays about electricity = 35%

35\%* 120 = \displaystyle(35)/(100)* 120 = 42

Displays about renewable energy =

\displaystyle(2)/(5)* \text{Total number of displays} = (2)/(5)* 120 = 48

Display about uses of gas =

\text{Total number of displays - Displays about electricity - Displays about renewable energy}\\= 120 - 42 -48\\=30

There were 30 displays about the uses of gas.
