The resultant vector is the sum of the two velocity vectors.



\left[\begin{array}{ccc}-30\\12\end{array}\right] + \left[\begin{array}{ccc}2\\-4\end{array}\right] = \left[\begin{array}{ccc}-28\\8\end{array}\right]
