There are three types of qualitative research namely:
phenomenological, grounded theory, and ethnographic research.
For phenomenological research, the information must only be collected from individuals who had lived through the experience.
For grounded theory, it involves testing, formulation, and redevelopment (in no particular order), until a theory is developed or made.
The similarity between them is they both collect and analyze data from the subject's perspective.
Ethnographic research, on the other hand, involves investigating the culture of a population.
