Someone plz help me!

Do the sqrt. of 2, the sqrt. of 2, and 2 make a right triangle?

These values can make a right triangle.


Here's how: if the two legs have a length of
√(2), and the hypotenuse is 2, the math checks out.


Let's use the Pythagorean theorem:



a^(2) +b^(2) =c^(2)


a and b represent the leg lengths, whereas c represents the hypotenuse length:



(√(2))^(2)+(√(2))^(2) =(2)^(2)


Then we simplify:



2+2=4


And this is indeed true.
