Are these expressions equivalnet why or why not 42 + 23 and 7 ( 6 + 5 )

42 + 23 = 65

7 ( 6 + 5)

42 + 35 = 77

they are not equivalent since they don't equal the same value

42+23= 65, 7(6+5)= 77, so they are not equivalent as they have two different outcomes.
