To find how many books you bought, what you need to do is deduct the the amount of tote bag(5) from the total (19) then devide it by the cost of a book (3.5)
here's the equation:
(19-5)÷3.5
=14÷3.5
=4
Thus you bought 4 books.
Hope it helps!
