Y=x^2-18 solve for x

First we pass the -18 to the other side, like this:
y + 18 = x^(2).

Then we change sides, like this:
x^(2) = y + 18.

And at last, we put a square root, like this:
x = √(y+18).

So the answer is:
x = √(y+18).
