A car factory is able to produce 120 cars per day. A new technology innovation improves the production by 10%. How many cars can the factory now produce in 5 days?

First, we have to find how many cars the factory can produce in one day:
0.1(120) + 120 = 132
Knowing this, we simply multiply the daily rate by 5 days:
132*5=660.
The car can now produce 660 cars in 5 days
(Note: if you need to show your work, I suggest writing 5(120 + 0.1(120)) To make it quicker and easier.)
