To find the answer use cos in your calculator.

Cos(x) = 15/21

Therefore you would type in

Cos^-1(15/21)

The answer would be approximately 44.4153085972

So th answer is B

Answer:

b.44 degrees

Explanation:

Hello

this is a right triangle, we can use trigonometric identities, in this case we know the hypotenuse and the adjacent side, we must use a formula that relates those two lengths, the appropriate one is cosine

cos(x)=(adjacent\ side)/(hypotenuse) \\

Step 1

Let

hypotenuse=21

adjacent side=15

cos(x)=(15)/(21)\\ take\ out\ the\ inverse\ function\ on\ each\ side\ to\ clear\ x\\cos^(-1)(cosx)=cos^(-1)(15)/(21)\\x=cos^(-1)((15)/(21))

use your calculator in deg mode, or a table to find the angle

x=44.41 degrees

x=44 degrees

Have a great day.
