The 10 in f(10) means that you plug in 10 for x. f(10) = 2. Here’s my work:

f(x) = 1/2 (10) - 3
f(x) = 5-3
f(x) = 2

Answer:

f(10)=2

Explanation:

f(10) basically means you substitute 10 for x. SO you have f(10)= 1/2(10)-3. 1/2 times 10 equals 5 and 5 -3 is 2 so f(10)=2
