If 5 people split the bill evenly,
they would each pay
65.20/5 which equals $13.04
each person also left their own 2.75 tip
so to find out how much each individual payed, just add the two values
13.04 + 2.75 =
$15.79

You start by doing 65.20 (the bill) divided by 5 (the amount of people paying)
65.20 / 5 = 13.04
Then you add 13.04 (how much each person paid towards the bill) and 2.75 (the amount of money each person left as a tip)
13.04 + 2.75 = 15.79
Each person paid $15.79
