one way of figuring out which is greater is by turning both number into decimals
2/10 is the same as saying 2 ÷ 10
if you do 2÷10 you should get
0.2
0.2 is closer to 1 than 0.02 so
0.2 > 0.02
2/10 > 0.02
another way would be to turn both into fractions
0.02 is said as "two thousandths" so it can be written as it is said
2/1000
2/1000 is much smaller than 2/10 so
2/10 > 0.02
