Hello!

To solve for the x-intercepts, you need to use the zero product property in order to solve for your x's.

3x - 10 = 0 x - 1 = 0
+ 10 + 10 + 1 + 1
3x = 10 x = 1
/3 /3
x = 10/3

To solve for the y-intercept, you need to substitute x for 0.

f(0) = 3x² - 13x + 10
f(0) = 3(0)² - 13(0) + 10
f(0) = 10

Therefore, your x-intercepts are x = 10/3 and 1 and your y-intercept is 10.

To find the x-intercept of a given linear equation, plug in 0 for 'y' and solve for 'x'. To find the y-intercept, plug 0 in for 'x' and solve for 'y'. In this tutorial, you'll see how to find the x-intercept and the y-intercept for a given linear equation.
