Having multiple sexual partners poses a greater risk because not everybody is infected but the chances of somebody having a sexual relationship with an infected person, given he/she has many sexual partners, are higher.

Having multiple sexual partners poses the greatest risk of getting an STI.

Not everyone has an STI, but when you engage in sexual relationships, the more partners you have, the higher your risk of contracting an STI.
